Daugava Open Cup RIga

This weekend I competed at the Daugava Cup, and it turned out to be a competition full of lessons, emotions and motivation for what comes next.

I finished in 4th place, which is something to be proud of, but at the same time it leaves a feeling of “what could have been.” A few small technical mistakes during my routine unfortunately cost me valuable points and kept me just off the podium.

That is part of sport at this level. The margins are small, and every detail counts.

Despite that, there are many positives to take away from this competition. I felt strong, focused and ready to compete. It is clear that the work we have been putting in during training is paying off, and I can see real progress in my performance.

Competitions like this are important moments in the journey of an athlete. They highlight both the strengths and the areas that still need improvement. For me, this result is not discouraging — it is fuel to keep pushing and working even harder.

I leave Latvia with valuable experience, new motivation and a clear goal in mind.

The podium was close this time. Next time, I will be ready to step onto it. 💪
